NPFL Wrap Up: Olisema shoots Akwa United to the top as Wikki Tourists, Elkanemi win away

In a seven-goal thriller, Enugu Rangers fought from a goal down to annihilate Remo Stars 5-2 in the matchday 12 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) games across the nation on Sunday.

Defender Bright Akpojuvwewo silenced the Flying Antelopes with the curtain raiser.

Rivers United’s hopes of making it to the NPFL playoffs suffered a fresh setback when they lost 1-2 to Wikki Tourists at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium.

The Pride of Rivers were outplayed by the Giant Elephants, which was secured by goals from Saidu Abdullahi and Hassan Musa.
