Abia Warriors on Sunday moved to the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League table after a 1-0 away victory against Heartland in Owerri, which leaves them as the only team yet to lose a game after Week Three of the 2016 league season.
Substitute Michael Olaha got the only goal of the game in the second half of the game, with the side recording the only away win of the weekend.
The Kennedy Boboye-led side are on top with seven points from three matches, while Rangers International, who defeated Niger Tornadoes 2-1, are in the second position.
Godwin Aguda and Osas Okoro got the two goals for the Enugu-based side.

In Port Harcourt, Rivers United were too much for their visitor Ifeanyi Ubah FC and their foreign coach, Dobrev Mikto, as they defeated the team 2-0 in in the presence of their owner, Ifeanyi Ubah.
In Kano, two goals from CHAN Eagles stars, Prince Aggrey and Ifeanyi Mathew, were enough to secure the victory for former champions, Kano Pillars, against Wikki Tourists. Mubarak Umar’s penalty was a consolation for the visitors, as the game ended 2-1 in favour of the home team.
Plateau United won their second home game, beating Warri Wolves 2-1 in Jos, while Shooting Stars ended MFM FC’s fairy-tale run with a 3-0 victory in Ibadan.

The league resumes on Wednesday with matches across various centres in the country.
Meanwhile, in the CAF Champions League, Mfom Udoh’s brace gave Enyimba a 2-0 victory against Viper of Uganda as they progressed to the next round of the continental game 2-1 on aggregate, having lost the first leg 1-0 in Kampala a fortnight ago.
