Nurudeen Yusuf, Tinubu’s ADC, to be crowned monarch of Kwara town

Nurudeen Yusuf, aide-de-camp (ADC) to President Bola Tinubu, is set to be crowned as the monarch of Ilemona land in Oyun LGA of Kwara state.

Nurudeen was chosen by the kingmakers as Elemona, the town’s traditional ruler, after the demise of his father, the late Yusuf Omokanye Oyekanmi, the former Elemona.

AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, governor of Kwara, is expected to present the staff of the office to him on Saturday.

The president’s aide-de-camp accepted the decision of the kingmakers after due authorisation as stated and required by the traditional customs and ethics of the Nigerian Army.

Yusuf is expected to appoint a regent to the throne until he retires from military service.
