Olusegun Obasanjo, former president of Nigeria, has lost his younger sister, Oluniola Eweje-Obasanjo.
Aged 76, she died at a private hospital in Ota, Ogun state, on Tuesday.
Obasanjo broke the news to women from the south-west who visited his hilltop mansion in Abeokuta, capital of Ogun state on Sunday.
He said if not that the meeting had been scheduled before the development, he would not have received them.
