Godwin Obaseki, governor of Edo state, has inaugurated the Ohordua-Emu bridge, connecting the people of Ohordua, in Esan south east local government area of the state with other communities.
The governor also inaugurated the 5.3km Iselu-Okaigben road in Ewohimi, Esan south east LGA, in furtherance of the administration’s drive to boost economic activities and better the lives and well-being of the majority of Edo people.
The inauguration took place during the PDP ward-to-ward campaign in Edo central senatorial district, ahead of the September 19, 2020 governorship election in the state, inaugurating the bridge on behalf of the governor, Senator Odion Ugbesia, thanked Obaseki for the construction of what he termed the “testimony bridge.”
He said the governor has performed excellently across all sectors of the state, noting that the bridge is a testimony of the sterling performance of the Obaseki-led administration.

He said the bridge will further open up the area for economic activities.
A leader of PDP in ward 2, Ewohimi, Ken Imasuangbon who inaugurated the Iselu-Okaigben road on behalf of the governor, thanked the Obaseki-led administration for the road, which he said, will open up the area for both agricultural and other economic activities.
“We, the Ewohimi people are very proud of your achievements as our governor. Today, with this road our women can comfortably take their produce to the market,” he said.
