Our objective is to win all our games, says Algeria coach

Algeria coach, Christian Gourcuff, has declared that his team’s target at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea is to win all of their games.

Les Fennecs are the best team in Africa according to FIFA ranking and they are looking to justify the number one position by winning the AFCON – which would be only their second since winning it on home soil in 1990.

“On our first day in Equatorial Guinea, we will make sure that all the players get some rest and remove the toxins accumulated during the trip,” Gourcuff said.

“As far as I am concerned, I will now focus on the tactical side. Four days in Mongomo will be enough to adapt. Our focus is now on our match against South-Africa. There is no calculation to make in such a competition.

“We need to impose our style of play taking into account the specificity of our opponents. Our objective remains the same: To win all our games.”

Algeria are in Group C with South Africa, Ghana and Senegal.
