Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Odion Ighalo, has signed a new five-year deal with his Barclays Premier League side Watford.
The 26-year-old forward, who has scored 21 goals in 42 games since signing for Watford in July 2014, has further committed his future to the club until 2020.
Ighalo initially moved to Watford on loan ahead of the 2014/15 campaign, but that move was made permanent three months into the promotion-winning season after a successful start to life at the Vicarage Road.
The striker was in a rich vein of goal scoring form in the early months of 2015, scoring an impressive 13 goals in nine games. He went on to find the net 20 times in just 22 league starts.

Ighalo expressed his delight at extending his stay with the club.
“I’m grateful for this deal, and I’m very happy to be here,” he told Hornets PlayerHD.
“I’ve worked hard to get here, we’ve been negotiating for a while now, so I’m glad we have come to a conclusion which means I can now continue to focus on playing this season. I have worked hard to get the club promoted, so I want to be here.

“I’ve been following Watford since the Pozzos took over, and I came here last year to join the team. The atmosphere here is great, and playing in the Premier League is something that I have dreamt about.
“We haven’t won any games as of yet in the Premier League, but my aim is to work hard and by the end of the season we hope to achieve the dream of staying here in this league.”
Ighalo opened his Premier League account with Watford’s second goal in a 2-2 draw at Everton on the opening day of 2015/16.
