Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, cancelled out Glenn Murray’s strike to ensure that his side Watford and hosts Bournemouth shared a point in their Barclays Premier League clash on Saturday.
The visitors were gifted the equaliser just before half-time as the Cherries keeper Artur Boruc misplaced a pass straight to Ighalo, who fired past the Polish international to level the scores.
The hosts started the match the brighter side, as Murray headed over the bar from a Matt Ritchie cross. Few minutes later, Marc Pugh tested Watford keeper Heurelho Gomes with a low shot.
Bournemouth took a deserved lead on 28 minutes after Ritchie found Murray with a cross before the striker headed past Gomes on his full debut for the Cherries.

The first-half ended 1-1, but Watford looked more determined of the sides to take the lead on the resumption of the second-half. Ben Watson could have put them ahead but struck the crossbar with a powerful volley instead.
Ikechi Anya then forced a save from Boruc with a one-on-one chance.
Bournemouth came close to taking the lead when they were awarded a penalty on 85 minutes when Etienne Capoue brought down Adam Smith in the box. But Murray’s spot kick was saved by Gomes, who went the right way to prevent a late winner for the hosts.

At the Etihad, Newcastle were blown away in a blistering spell by Manchester City as the hosts scored six times in 20 minutes.
Aleksandar Mitrovic put the visitors ahead, but they had no answer as Sergio Aguero helped himself to five goals, with Kevin De Bruyne also on the scoresheet.
Kelechi Iheanacho returned to action for the Citizen as the former Flying Eagles star replaced David Silva with 25 minutes left to play.
