“We are delighted to announce a partnership with the Akin Fadeyi Foundation on its ‘Corruption, Not In My Country Project’. This grass roots anti-corruption advocacy project is an important one, particularly at a time like this when the Nigerian Government and its people are collectively declaring war against corruption. We believe that, the ‘Corruption, Not In My Country Project’ will empower citizens to imbibe openness in their business dealings and to demand accountability from Government,” Ibekaku-Nwagwu said.

“Our commitment to being part of the Akin Fadeyi Foundation’s anti-corruption effort is part of our multi-stakeholder approach to creating a socio-economic environment guided by Open Governance principle.

“We also believe that with the successes recorded so far in the implementation of the Whistle-Blower policy, supported by Nigerians, a citizen-led anti-corruption campaign such as that championed by the Akin Fadeyi Foundation will also succeed. OGP Nigeria will continue to support AFF and other like-minded organisations committed to building a healthy and vibrant socio-economic ecosystem.”

“We are grateful to the OGP Nigeria Secretariat led by the Hon. Attorney-general of the federation and minister of justice, Abubakar Malami SAN, for the trust reposed in us. We will continue to promote retail and grass roots anti-corruption within the country and make citizens accountable.”
