The newly established Oke-Ogun tennis club will hold its inaugural tournament in October this year.

In a statement, Bola Olalere, the project coordinator of Oke Ogun Green Revolution, the parent body for the club, said the tournament, which is tagged Oke Ogun Open, will be held in Iseyin, Saki and Okeho areas of Oyo between October 1st and 26th, 2024.

Olalere added that the tennis club serves as an avenue for social networking among members who play lawn tennis and engage in agribusiness.

“With a good number of our youths relocating home for the purpose of Agribusiness and several other Agriprenuer trooping into the region, we do not want them to miss anything from the city, and that is why we are creating green estates with modern facilities like tennis courts across the region,” the statement reads.
