Doyin Okupe, former senior special assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, rained curses on one Abubakar Sidiq, a blogger, while trying to absolve himself of any wrong doing in the ongoing probe of security funds under the last administration.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is currently grilling the former presidential aide, who has since confessed to collecting N100 million from Sambo Dasuki, former national security adviser (NSA).
Okupe said out of the money, he used N10 million to furnish his apartment in Abuja.
The clash with Sidiq started after the story entitled: ‘$2.1b Arms Scandal: EFCC Interrogates Okupe Over N162m ‘Illicit Payment’, was published by the blogger.

Okupe fired the first salvo: “@MrAbuSidiq without doubt you must be a lunatic. I have nothing to do with arms scandal. God almighty shall disgrace u, your family and household,” he wrote, and Sidiq responded: “@doyinokupe So long as you end up in Kuje prison, I don’t mind your curse.”
He continued: “@MrAbuSidiq stupid goat. U wish! Prisons are for criminals like your progenitors. I am neither a thief nor a criminal. We shall see.”
Again, Sidiq responded: “@doyinokupe Since you can now tweet, I’ll tell EFCC you are no longer sick so they can come pick and lock you up in Kuje. You eye go clear.”

Okupe: U I know for sure will not end well. U insult and ridicule the innocent. God’s judgement awaits u.
Sidiq: At least I have not been invited by EFCC. You are close to Kuje prison than I am.
Okupe: EFCC does not invite minions and wretched of the earth like u except if a hopeless never do well like u go into 419 & d like
Sidiq: If minions like me steals money like you did, they will invite me. Don’t worry, I will pay you a visit in Kuje prison.

Apparently, losing interest in the conversation, Okupe wrote: “Yo u have had your 10mins of fame during which you took on Doyin Okupe and he engaged you. Well done. Time out.”
But Sidiq would not allow his rival have the last word, so he said: “Na you start, na you go still tire. I ready for you this night. Shebi you sabi curse. Bring it on.”
