Folu Olamiti, former managing director of Nigerian Tribune, has been appointed as the chairman of the Anglican TV management board.
Nicholas Okoh, primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, approved his appointment in a letter dated June 7, 2017. which was made available to journalists on Tuesday.

Eight other church members were also appointed to the management board of the television station.

They are: Blessing Enyindah, a bishop; Chidi Oparanjiaku, also a bishop; Dade Sadare, a venerable and G. T. N. Ajakpo. would serve as members of the board.
Other members of the board are P.S. Nmadu, T.B . Akinyeye, Bisi Amagada and Ngozi Adighije.
Okoh said the appointments followed the reconstitution of the management board of the church’s television station.

He said the responsibility of the new board included managing the affairs of the television station.
“You are to deal with the problems of the television station and bring up and execute after our approval, appropriate ways of improving its operation. You are also to put in your best towards securing strong financial base for its future”, he said.
Olamiti, a renowned media consultant and fellow of Nigerian Guild of Editors, spent about 35 years at Nigerian Tribune.
