Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has included Manchester City youngster Kelechi Iheanacho in the list of players called for the 2018 World Cup second round fixture against Swaziland.
An initial list of 23 was released on Thursday by the Nigeria Football Federation, but Iheanacho’s inclusion now increases the number of invited players to 24.
A recuperating Sunday Oliseh, placed on two weeks of bed rest by his doctors, could only watch the repeat broadcast of the Capital One game between Manchester City and Crystal Palace Thursday afternoon to decide on handing the 2013 U-17 World Cup MVP a senior team call up.
“I initially called up 23 players, but I am adding Kelechi Iheanacho to the list immediately,” Oliseh told thenff.com.

“I have been following Kelechi’s progress at City.”
Iheanacho was named man-of-the-match in the game where he scored a goal and provided two assists in City’s 5-1 win.
