Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has recalled Emmanuel Emenike to the national team.
The striker was left out of the team by erstwhile coach Stephen Keshi over his poor goal ratio for Nigeria. But he’s among the invited 18 overseas-based professionals invited by Oliseh for next month’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in Dar es Salaam.
Oliseh omitted Chelsea’s midfielder John Obi Mikel and winger Victor Moses from his 18-man squad.
Also overlooked is Watford player, Odion Ighalo, who made a scoring debut against Chad in June.

Carl Ikeme, a goalkeeper with English Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers, also makes the squad.
All the 18 players, who will join up with the 23 home boys who arrived camp in Abuja on Monday, are expected in Abuja on Monday, August 31, 2015.
