Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won his re-election in Delta central senatorial district.
According to the results by Godfrey Ariavie, the returning officer, Omo-Agege polled 111,100 votes to defeat Everlyn Oboro, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 99,422 votes.
Also, Ali Ndume, senate leader, has been reelected into the senate having scored the highest votes in Borno south senatorial district.
Ndume garnered 300,637 votes to defeat his closest rival, Kudla Haske, of the PDP who polled 84, 608 votes.

In Lagos west senatorial district, Solomon Adeola (Yayi) was declared winner by Olumide Adenuga, returning officer of theelection.
Adeola polled a total of 323,817 votes to emerge the winner. He defeated his closest rival Gbadebo Rhodes of the PDP, who had 243,516 votes.
In Kaduna central, Shehu Sani of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) who currently represents the district lost to Uba Sani of the APC.

Zakari Muhammad, the returning officer, who announced the result, said Uba polled 355,242 votes ahead of the senator’s 70,613 votes.
Sani had emerged as senator on the platform of the APC in 2015, but defected to PRP when he lost the party’s senatorial ticket.
Uba Sani is an ally of Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna.
