Bayo Omoboriowo, the official photographer of former President Muhammadu Buhari, will speak at the annual symposium of the Carrington Youth Fellowship Network in Lagos.
The event, which is inspired by the late Walter Carrington, a former US diplomat to Nigeria, will take place on Tuesday.
The symposium is themed ‘Innovate, Create, and Sustain: Youth Entrepreneurship for a Better Future’.
In a statement by the fellowship’s board on Monday, the symposium will also be in commemoration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and aims to foster entrepreneurship development among Nigeria’s youth.

“It will provide a platform for student entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas, learn from successful entrepreneurs, network with potential investors, and access support for their ventures,” the statement reads.
“The event will also host keynote speeches and panel discussions, a business fair and exhibition, networking and interactions, and CYFI alumni awards presentations.”
The event will be held at the J.F. Ade Ajayi auditorium at the University of Lagos and notable speakers include Folasade Ogunsola, the vice-chancellor of the host institution; Olatunbosun Alake, Lagos commissioner for innovation, science, & technology; and Mobolaji Ogunlende, Lagos commissioner of youth; and Odunayo Eweniyi, the co-founder of Piggyvest; among others.
