Kolawole Olomola, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Idanre LGA of Ondo, says some fake soldiers have been imported into the town ahead of the governorship election in the state.
The off-cycle governorship election in Ondo will be held on November 16.
Olomola alleged that a known leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) imported the fake soldiers into the town.
He said the motive was to use the fake soldiers to intimidate residents and supporters of the APC.

“We are peace-loving people in Idanre, and we are only craving for a peace election and not war from fake soldiers.”
