Mayowa Akinfolarin, a member of the house of representatives, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The defection of Akinfolarin, who represents Ileoluji-Okeibo/ Odigbo constituency in Ondo state, was announced during plenary on Tuesday.
In a letter read to the lawmakers by Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house, Akinfolarin cited division in the PDP as his reason for leaving the party.
Unlike the previous cases, his defection was not greeted with much opposition from other party members.
