A tank farm exploded in Koko town, Warri North LGA of Delta state, on Saturday.
According to NAN, the tank farm was operated by Ebeco Global Link.
A resident of the area was quoted as saying that the incident took place in the morning and caused panic among residents.
Bright Edafe, the police public relations officer in Delta state, confirmed the explosion while speaking with journalists.

Edafe said one person sustained injuries, noting that there was no report of any death as a result of the explosion.
“The situation has been brought under control,” the police spokesperson said.
The cause of the tank farm explosion is yet to be determined.
