Timi Frank, a former deputy spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says only God can retire former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar from politics.
Frank said this in a response to comments made by Vice-President Kashim Shettima.
Shettima had said he will retire Abubakar to rearing of cows and poultry.
Shettima made the comments on Wednesday after the presidential election petitions tribunal affirmed the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25 poll.

In a statement on Friday, Frank said God is with Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“Shettima should know that ‘one with God’, as they say, ‘is majority’,” he said.
“Atiku has the majority and this is why Nigerians did not jubilate nor celebrate the pyrrhic affirmation through judicial coup orchestrated by the PEPC affirming Tinubu as the winner of the presidential election.”

Frank who is an ambassador of United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) to East Africa and Middle East, described the former vice-president and Peter Obi, standard bearer of the Labour Party (LP), as “heroes of democracy”.
“Some of us know that Atiku and Peter Obi remain the heroes of democracy in Nigeria and Nigerians will never forget their struggle for a free, fair and transparent democratic system in the country irrespective of whether they get justice in the instant election petition case or not,” he said.
The former APC chieftain commended Abubakar for his “resilience and doggedness” in the pursuit of justice and in upholding the rule of law.
