Opeyemi Agbaje, a lawyer, has returned as chief executive officer (CEO) of RTC Advisory Services Limited, a Lagos-based business advisory firm.
Agbaje, in a statement, announced that his return would be effective from September 15, 2021.
He explained that he took time off from RTC Advisory in August 2019 to serve as executive secretary/CEO of Ogun State Security Trust Fund.
Agbaje expressed joy to have had the opportunity to serve in a public sector role.

“You will be aware that in August 2019, I took time off from RTC Advisory Services Ltd., the strategy and business advisory firm I founded in 2004, to serve as Executive Secretary/CEO of Ogun State Security Trust Fund,” Agbaje said.
“I am very pleased to inform you that after two successful years in that position, I will be returning as Chairman/ CEO of RTC Advisory Services Ltd effective September 15, 2021.
“I am happy to have had this opportunity to serve in a public sector role in my beloved home State and gathered additional perspectives to policy and management which may be useful in my consulting work and future endeavours.

“Nevertheless, I am exceedingly glad to return to my ‘first love’, RTC Advisory Services Ltd and its associate communications consultancy, Stairways Communications and Advocacy Ltd, both of which I will now serve as Chairman.”
In August 2019, Agbaje was appointed by Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun state, as executive secretary of the state reinvigorated Security Trust Fund.
