OrderPaper Nigeria, a media organisation dedicated to reporting parliamentary affairs, is set to host a town hall meeting for legislative candidates of the federal capital territory (FCT).
The town hall meeting is scheduled to hold on December 5, at the Sandralia Hotel in Jabi, Abuja.
Aside from OrderPaper, the programme is also supported by FixPolitics Initiative, Enough is Enough (EiE), Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC), and the Centre for Transparency Advocacy (CTA).
The townhall meeting will feature candidates from all political parties for the FCT’s two seats in the house of representatives and one senatorial seat.

Speaking on the programme, Oke Epia, director of OrderPaper Nigeria, said it is “a call to duty”.
“For us at OrderPaper and our esteemed partners, we believe in the legislature being the foremost of the three branches of Government in a representative democracy,” Epia said.
“Having also been at the forefront of putting the spotlight on the institution of parliament for nearly ten years now, and (of course) with numerous endorsements, we consider it a call to duty to put this pilot series together for constituents resident in the Nigerian capital.”
