Adams Oshiomhole, governor of Edo state, has accused Raymond Dokpesi, chairman of Africa Independent television (AIT) of harassing voters in Auchi, the governor’s hometown, in order to tilt the result of Saturday”s election in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking with journalists on Sunday, Oshiomhole said Dokpesi was betraying his enormous respect for him.
“A man that I personally respect so much, High chief Raymond Dokpesi, who I regard as a brother, he brought troops to Auchi to attack women, beat up elderly people, attack electorate and disrupt election at Auchi,” he said.
“Once they saw the results being announced so far were favouring APC and Buhari, Dokpesi brought army from nowhere. I don’t know when Dopkesi became commander in chief of the army, where Dopkesi has the right to do that.”
