Asisat Oshoala scored a hat-trick as Nigeria destroyed Equatorial Guinea 6-0 to qualify for the semi-final of the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON).
The reigning African women’s footballer of the year proved her doubters wrong with a brilliant individual performance in Cape Coast.
Former Pitea forward Francisca Ordega showed predatory instinct to net the first goal in the 11th minute of action.
It was soon 2-0 in the encounter as former Arsenal and Liverpool star Oshoala was at the right place to score from a well-delivered assist from Desire Oparanozie.
