Asisat Oshoala, African female footballer of the year, says the Super Falcons need to play more friendly matches.
Although the female national team is scheduled to play France, Oshoala maintains that “it is not enough”.
The friendly match against France will take place on April 4, in Paris, after over a year of inactivity by the African Women’s Cup of Nations champions.
“It’s a good one, a big step for us and good news for women’s football in Nigeria generally but it’s not enough,” Oshoala told BBC Sport.

“It’s not about the France game alone, we need more games like this and we don’t have to plead before we get games.”
The Super Falcons are set to have a world class coach, according to NFF head honcho Amaju Pinnick.
“I’ve had an honest conversation with the president (Pinnick) of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) about this,” said the 23-year-old attacker.

“He’s been very positive and in a couple of weeks we will definitely have someone to lead the team.
Oshoala, who is currently on the books of Dalian Quanjian FC, has played for Rivers Angels, Liverpool Ladies and Arsenal Ladies.
