Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, is confident the Nigeria’s women national team will have the best attack in the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.
The 20-year-old, who is expected to make coach Edwin Okon’s final squad alongside Desire Oparanozie, Iniabasi Umotong, Courtney Dike and Francesca Ordega, believes that with proper blending, they will have the deadliest attack at the World Cup.
“We have a very good attack and I think that is one thing that will work for us if we blend properly as a team,” she told sl10.ng shortly before their departure.
“I don’t know if all of us (attackers) will make the final squad but if we do we will have the deadliest attack at the World Cup.

“The most important thing is just for us to get a better understanding of one another, understand each person’s strengths and that will give us an advantage.”
The Falcons will play Sweden in their opening match with Oshoala leading the frontline. But she readily docked the burden of expectation on her.
“I’m not the only one on the team, I have teammates and it’s going to be a collective effort,” she said.
