Osimhen ‘off to seal EPL deal’

Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian sensation at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, is off to England to seal move to the EPL, Africanfootball.com reports.

The 17-year-old flew directly to Queen’s land direct from Dakar, venue of the just concluded CAF U-23 AFCON – which the Dream team VI won, defeating Algeria 2-1 in the final.

The name of the club remains a mystery.

“Everything has been agreed with an EPL club,’’ a source was quoted in the report.

Osimhen, record scorer at the U-17 World Cup with 10 goals, looks assured of the deal, except an irresistibly tempting offer from a team like Real Madrid would halt the deal, the source further said.

An earlier reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur in the youngster was downplayed in the report.
