Victor Osimhen, Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, has lambasted Mamuka Jugeli, agent to his Napoli teammate Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, following suggestions he could move to Saudi Arabia in the summer because of money.
Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia fired Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years and are both highly courted by top European clubs.
While Osimhen signed a contract extension in December, his teammate has not taken a similar route.
This resulted in questions about the Georgian international’s future with Napoli.

Jugeli, speaking to 1TV, via Gazetta dello Sport, an Italian sports outfit, appeared to accuse the striker of a “lack of ambition”.
He also insinuated that money would be the reason for the Nigerian to move to Saudi Arabia while adding that his client is focused on top European clubs.
“Victor Osimhen has signed a new contract, but do you really believe he’ll play for Napoli for his entire career? I’ll tell you in advance, he (Osimhen) will go to Saudi Arabia next summer,” he said.

“Napoli raised his salary but Kvicha wouldn’t accept such a transfer [to Saudi Arabia] even for a billion.
“For example, he [Kvaratskhelia] would prefer to play for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona or maybe Manchester City. Kvaratskhelia has different goals and preferences. He wants to be successful, and he is already having it, he is among the top three players in the world. Everything will happen in due time, it is still early. No team would say no to the idea of having him in the team. Anyone who knows football will agree with me that he has no limits and can only improve.”
This however elicited an angry response from Osimhen, who is currently with the Super Eagles for AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast.
The 25-year-old took to his Instagram page to put out an expletive-laden post berating the Georgian agent.

“Dear Mamuka Jugeli, you are a piece of filth and a disgrace. I’m embarrassed at your sense of reasoning. Dumbfuck! KEEP MY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!!!,” Osimhen added.
The striker will lead the Super Eagles attack in Ivory Coast.
