Leicester City have been drawn against Napoli in this season’s Europa League group stage — in clashes that will pit Nigerian stars Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi against Victor Osimhen.

The two teams were paired in group C during the draws that held in Instanbul, Turkey, on Friday.

The trio will also face Victor Moses, another Nigerian international who plays for Spartak Moscow, as Legia Warsaw FC of Poland complete the group.

Both Napoli and Leicester City were eliminated at the round of 32 last season.

According to the new format of the competition, only group winners will automatically progress to the round of 16.

Runners-up will face third-placed UEFA Champions League teams in the new knockout round play-offs to earn a round of 16 place.

There is further hope of European glory for third-placed sides in the group stage, as they will further dropped down to the newly created Europa Conference League knockout round.
