Laolu Akande, spokesperson of Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday said bad weather condition prevented his principal from visiting Ondo state.
In a tweet on Monday, Akande apologised to the people of the state over the absence of the acting president.
“Weather conditions again prevented Acting President Osinbajo’s planned visit to Akure today. Sincere apologises to the government and people of the state,” Akande tweeted.

On Friday, Osinbajo was forced to postpone his trip to the state due to poor visibility at the Akure airport.

Akande had explained that the acting president was already air-borne when the weather got bad.
The Acting President’s planned trip to Ondo is in continuation of his tour of oil-producing communities. He had earlier visited Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Imo states.
