Osun airport to ‘commence operations in June’

Hyacinth Eze, managing director, Aeronautical Engineering and Technical Services Limited – the company handling the MKO Abiola International Airport in Osun state – says the project will become operational in eight months time.

Eze said this when he led a team of engineers to Rauf Aregbesola, governor of the state, in Osogbo, the state capital, on Wednesday.‎

He attributed the delay to “a little hitch”, which had been resolved, assuring that work will be fast on the project in order to meet the eight-month target.

“Our company has two on-going projects in the state, one, which is the most important of the projects is the MKO Abiola International Airport,” he said.
