Funmi Abokede, general manager of Osun Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), says Ademola Adeleke, the governor, has assisted the agency with the setting up of a development centre.

The centre would enable persons with disabilities (PWDs) showcase their trade and craft.

She said this in Osogbo at a two-day media engagement programme for Result Initiative which held at Ben-Ber Foundation hall.

“Osun is the only state that has centre for People with Disabilities. We have the centre at Edunabon. Some states have visited the state to copy the ideas,” Abokede said.

She added that the governor has tried to improve the lives of residents by providing social amenities, and urged communities to maintain them so that they can last long.

The general manager said the fund provided the agency was used to improve the lives of PWDs, widows and other vulnerable people.

“In addition, Governor Ademola Adeleke has continually given full support for micro projects widely spread across the state,” she said.
