Biodun Oyebanji, Ekiti state governor, has awarded N500,000 each to two disability educators as part of this year’s Teachers’ Day celebrations.

Adetoun Agboola, special adviser on special education and social inclusion to the governor, commended Oyebanji for his “commitment to inclusive education and the recognition of these teachers”.

She said the award is a morale booster and that it was the first of its kind on Teachers’ Day in the state.

“This recognition underscores Governor Oyebanji’s unwavering commitment to creating an inclusive environment for educators and students alike,” she said.
