Gboyega Oyetola, the former governor of Osun, says his appointment as minister of marine and blue economy comes with loads of responsibilities.
On August 16 when the presidency released the list of ministers and their portfolios, Oyetola was designated as the minister of transportation.
Few days before the inauguration of the cabinet however, President Bola Tinubu redeployed Oyetola to the ministry of marine and blue economy to replace Bunmi Tunji-Ojo.
Speaking on Monday after the inauguration Oyetola said: “I thank almighty God for this wonderful opportunity to serve and the people of Osun for coming all the way from the state to celebrate with me here”.
