Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state, says the party will record massive victory in the forthcoming Ondo governorship election.
The Ondo state governorship election will be held on November 16.
Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the incumbent governor, is the candidate of the APC in the election.
Speaking to journalists in Osogbo, the Osun state capital, on Sunday, Oyintiloye said APC is set to achieve a landslide victory, noting that Ondo is a progressive state.

He said Aiyedatiwa is a visionary leader who has accomplished much through his people-oriented policies and programmes.
He noted that the state has experienced significant transformation in areas such as health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and rural community development within a short time since Aiyedatiwa assumed office.
The former lawmaker urged the electorate to turn out in large numbers and cast their votes for the APC “to shock the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other opposition parties” in the state.

“That is no doubt; the election is going to be free, fair, and peaceful, and APC will win with a clear-cut margin,” Oyintiloye said.
“The electorate will never allow the state to go backwards, and that is why they will come out peacefully to vote for APC.
“There is no magic about it. APC will win massively, and the opposition parties will be shocked.
“Our committee, under the leadership of his Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nassarawa state, will approach the task ahead with due diligence.”
