Pascal, Dimgba, Kester... TheCable's NPFL team of the week

Here is TheCable’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) team of the week for matchday 15.

Enugu Rangers took over the leadership spot in group A after a 2-1 away victory over Sunshine Stars on Sunday.

Seka Pascal’s double silenced the home fans at the Ondo sports complex.

Nana Bonsu [Rangers]

He is no surprise anymore, although it is simply impressive what he does. At least five great saves against Sunshine Stars.

Kodjovie Dadzie [Akwa United]

We give him the glory for the goal and also for a game with essentially no mistakes whatsoever. It was simple against Kano Pillars, but what a clean performance.

Monsuru Bashiru [Lobi Stars]

Bashiru was probably the Lobi Stars player with the toughest task against MFM FC.

Isiaka Oladuntoye [Rangers]

He was composed on the ball, calm when defending and was also a huge problem to the opposition, a development that helped the Flying Antelopes to a crucial win.

Ugwu Uwuadiegwu [Rangers)

Another wonderful performance for the left-footed genius who inspires most of Rangers’ victories. What a season he’s having.

Kelly Kester [Lobi Stars]

Kelly Kester was hardworking defensively. Against the Olukoya Warriors, he was simply everywhere, giving Lobi Stars the edge in midfield.

Godspower Anefiok [Akwa United]

Against Pillars it was the Promise Keepers’ attacking power which was mainly on show, but Godspower’s ability to overwhelm Rabiu Ali in the middle was central to the development of the match, as Pillars’ mid-fielders disappeared.

Ahmadu Liman [Niger Tornadoes]

Liman is on fire, confirming his form against Wikki Tourists with a brace.

Stanley Dimgba [Enyimba]

Dimgba was on hand to help with a double for the People’s Elephants at home to Kwara United, the goals were decisive for Enyimba’s three points.

Seka Pascal [Rangers]

One of the best strikers in the league when it comes to pure finishing, Pascal demonstrated it once again with two goals to dim Sunshine at the Ondo sports complex.

Uche Ihuarulam [FC Ifeanyi Ubah]

Even though he netted two goals, Ihuarulam’s ability to dribble past opponents and run in behind them was one of the keys of FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s win over a hopeless Go Round FC.
