Several passengers sustained injuries following a train accident at Mangoro, Agege area of Lagos state.
The accident, involving three coaches, was said to have occurred around 7am on Thursday, causing traffic gridlock around the axis.
One of the train coaches reportedly fell off the rail track while in motion, causing another coach to derail, with passengers trapped in them.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) said no life was lost in the incident while the casualties have been taken to the hospital for treatment.

The agency said the accident was caused by faulty rail tracks, adding that officials of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) were on ground to work on it.
