PDP agent rejects Lagos governorship result

Tajudeen Agoro, the agent of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP in Lagos, has rejected the result of elections conducted in Lagos, saying the process was riddled by irregularities.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner for polling 812,394 votes to Agbaje’s 659,738.

But Agor said the declared results was “a case of a stolen mandate”.

He said his party would get justice and recover it’s mandate. He also accused INEC for accepting results from Ibeju Lekki local government, where about 10,000 voters were accredited manually, against the electoral guidelines.

When asked about his reaction to the Jimi Agbaje’s concession call, he said it was not out of place.
