Alhaji Auwal Jatau, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi state, has donated N30 million to victims of Monday’s bomb blast at the Bauchi central market.
Jatau, who made the donation in Bauchi on Thursday when he visited the scene of the incident to sympathise with the traders, urged the victims and all those affected in a way or the other to put their faith in Allah.
He expressed sadness that people were killed while legitimately seeking their means of livelihood.
“I am sad and angry over the incident, especially that some of our brothers have lost their lives,” he said.
