PDP picks Adeyeye as Metuh’s successor

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Dayo Adeyeye as its national publicity secretary.

Adeyeye succeeds Olisa Metuh, who refused to contest for any office after his tenure expired.

Metuh is facing trial for receiving N400 million from the office of Sambo Dasuki, former national security adviser, in the buildup to the 2015 election.

Apart from Adeyeye, portfolios have also been assigned to members of the caretaker committee, who were not at the party’s last convention in Port Harcourt.
