Bafarawa shares a smile with his new best friends, PDP chairman Ahmed Muazu and President Jonathan

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed its governorship campaign slated for Thursday in Ekiti State.

National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Olisa Metuh, said the campaign, meant to be a presidential/state governorship flag-off, has been postponed by one week in order to mourn the victims of  the bomb blast in Jos.

About  118 persons lost their lives to twin blasts which occurred in Jos central on Tuesday.

“Our hearts reach out to the victims and their families, and we pray that Nigerians unite as we say no to terrorism,” Metuh said in a statement released on Wednesday.
