Brazil legend Pele is in intensive care as his condition worsens at Sao Paulo hospital.
The 74-year-old was admitted suffering from a urinary infection on Tuesday after undergoing surgery on kidney stones at the beginning of the month.
Doctors at the Albert Einstein Hospital had only recently said Pele was in a stable condition with his illness, but media report claims that the three-time World Cup winner’s condition is now worsening.
Following his recent discharge on November 15, Pele’s personal aide Jose Fornos Rodrigues had told Reuters: “He made some tests and will be discharged tomorrow. Everything is fine.”
