Peter Okoye of the famous musical group, P-Square, lit up the mood of some families during Yuletide.
A brand ambassador for Olympic milk, Peter visited the homes of some of the winners of ‘Blue Santa Selfie Challenge,’ a Facebook competition that required participants to take a selfie picture imitating him as Santa.
Despite the downpour, the music star went round to deliver cartons of Olympic evaporated Milk, Apple flavoured Olympic and autographed branded V-neck shirts to winners of the competition.
The winners were selected based on the numbers of likes for the selfie pictures on the Facebook page and the creativity of the pose.

Yetunde Ifakoya, one of the winners, who resides at Ibadiaran Street, Maryland, Lagos, could not contain her joy on sighting Peter.
“I never believed I would get a prize not to talk of seeing Peter himself in my house,” she said.
“Though, I got a call from one of the staff at Nutricima, I still told myself that until I see it happening, I won’t bother.”

Tunde Popoola, a resident of Egbeda, said words could not describe how he felt.
“This is real; Peter Okoye in my house, on my settee!”
Popoola invited the artiste into his living room, served him a bottle of Apple flavoured Olympic drink and took several selfies with him.
Speaking on the initiative, Raphael Agbaje, the category marketing manager, (Standard Milk), Nutricima, said the brand decided to use Christmas as a reason to make the season memorable for its consumers.

He added that Peter Okoye, the Blue Santa, was basically the surprise gift for the winners who would not have believed that he could go door-to- door to pay them a visit.
