The family of Phillips Oduoza, chairman of NOVA Merchant Bank, has released the burial arrangement for Emeka, their late son.
The death of Emeka, the 27-year-old investment banker, was announced on Friday.
According to the family, Emeka, a member of Blackstone, a private investment banking company, died on August 18 in New York, United States.
In a burial arrangement released on Saturday, the family said the lying-in-state will be held on September 4 at the Green Hills Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California.

On September 5, a mass will be held in his honour, while internment, to be attended by family members only, will follow immediately at the family mausoleum in the Green Hills Memorial Park cemetery.
Blackstone, the insurance company Emeka worked for before his death, described him as a beloved family member who approached his responsibilities with unwavering dedication and a deep sense of integrity.
The company added that Emeka’s death would leave an indelible impression on all who had the privilege of working with him.

“Emeka was a distinguished member of the Blackstone community. His exceptional skills and commitment to his work as a Blackstone member made him a valued and respected colleague,” Blackstone said in a statement.
