The court of appeal in Abuja is set to deliver judgment in the appeal challenging the removal of Abdullahi Sule as governor of Nasarawa state.
On October 2, the election petition tribunal in Lafia nullified Sule‘s victory and declared David Ombugadu, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as winner of the poll.
During the ruling on Monday, two of the justices said Ombugadu won the election, while one judge dissented.
Consequently, Sule and the APC are seeking to overturn the judgment of the lower tribunal.
