For the second weekend in a row, residents of Lagos were trapped in their homes or spent hours in traffic as a result of flood.
The showers continued non-stop on Sunday, affecting people in different parts of Nigeria’s most populous city.
On Friday, when the Lagos state government alerted residents of Ikoyi, VI and some other parts of the state that flood could last throughout the weekend, some people took it as news but those in Egbeda, Ikeja, Iyano-Ipaja, Ayobo, among others were affected by flood.
