PHOTOS: Akpabio, Barau Jibrin, Opeyemi Bamidele pay condolence visit to Saraki over mother’s demise

Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Tuesday led a delegation of the upper chamber to pay a condolence visit to Bukola Saraki, a former president of the senate, over the demise of his mother.

Barau Jibrin, deputy senate president, and Opeyemi Bamidele, majority leader of the upper legislative chamber accompanied Akpabio on the visit.

Saliu Mustapha, senator representing Kwara central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, senator representing Kogi central, and
Benson Friday Konbowei, senator representing Bayelsa central, were also part of the delegation that went to condole with Saraki at his Abuja residence.

Florence Saraki, the mother of the former governor of Kwara state died on June 18.

The late Florence died a few weeks before her 89th birthday.

She celebrated her 87th birthday on August 8, 2022, on Cameron street in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.
