PHOTOS: Aminu Bayero observes Jumat at Nassarawa palace

Aminu Bayero, the dethroned Emir of Kano, on Friday, attended Jumat at the Nassarawa palace mosque in Kano city.

Earlier on Friday, the Kano police command had said Bayero would not lead Jumat at Kofar Kudu central mosque.

Kofar Kudu is where the Emir of Kano worships.

Kano has been embroiled in crisis since the reinstatement of Muhammad Sanusi II as Emir last week.

Bayero, who has not complied with the directive of the Kano state government sacking him, has been ensconced in a palace in Nassarawa LGA since his pre-dawn return to the city last Saturday.
