The 82 division of the Nigerian Army has presented motorcycles to four soldiers for carrying out their duties diligently.
Taoreed Lagbaja, general officer commanding (GOC) of the division, presented the gifts to two sergeants — Amodu Simon and Oyinbo Emmanuel — Mbanaso Isaac, a corporal, and Ibrahim Lawal, a private.
According to a statement by the army on Wednesday, the soldiers also received letters of commendation from the GOC during an event which held on Tuesday at Abakpa cantonment, Enugu.
“While making the presentation to the soldiers, Maj Gen Lagbaja described their conduct as commendable and exemplary and noted that the soldiers’ assiduousness in ensuring the hygiene of the various portions of the cantonment assigned to them was impressive. He charged other soldiers of the Division to emulate the exemplary conduct of the honourees,” the statement reads.
