PHOTOS: Benue holds mass burial for those killed by herdsmen

Thousands of Benue residents gathered at the IBB Square in Makurdi, the state capital on Thursday to witness the burial of victims of herdsmen killings.

Tears flowed freely as people placed curses on the killers.

An official told TheCable that the victims would be buried at Adeke village in Makurdi.

TheCable reporter counted 61 coffins but a source said 74 graves had been dug as of 12 midday.
